ARE COLOURED BODY TILES MORE RESISTANT TO ABRASION THEN THE OTHERS?
I would like to know if the full-body tiles of the Abetone collection by Paul Ceramiche are made in coloured-body porcelain stoneware or are just enamelled.
Monica
According to you request, please notes that not only the Abetone collection, but all the series made of porcelain stoneware wood effect – of any brand – are enamelled.
It is not useful, to worry about if the tiles are coloured-body or not (the tiles of Paul Ceramiche are not coloured body), because if a very blunt object falls on a tile, not being the drawing on the surface coloured in mass, this will be ruined anyway; by the way, I do not think that someone wants to maintain a broken tile with scrapings. You just should keep a few boxes tiles in case of various unforeseen events, and, if necessary, replaced them.
I've heard several time customers in my showroom, bring back the advice of other retailers who suggest to buy floors in coloured body porcelain stoneware, because if the unexpected will happen, you will not notice. But I can guarantee, that this is just a legend.
