The new Kimono collection, presented by Decoratori Bassanesi at Cersaie 2024, draws inspiration from traditional Japanese clothing, created through a complex work of knots and folds like a sort of origami that contribute to creating a geometric design made of different fabrics and patterns. The series consists of two distinct formats and with two different surface finishes, one smooth and one three-dimensional, designed to offer unique and highly customizable surfaces. The color range has been the subject of an in-depth study, not limited to the search for a single color, but focused on the combination of different shades. A wide palette of eight shades, in which the glazes range from the most intense blues to greens, to earth colors, up to more neutral nuances, presenting various expressive possibilities, in which even the choice of stucco becomes a characterizing element in the design of a space.
